Rufina

Rufina, Rufi, Ru, Rubear...multiple names for her multiple personalities. Rufi is a funny character and perhaps one of the easiest dogs we've had in foster care. She is very independent and doesn't demand a lot of attention, but she won't say no to an ear scratch and a belly rub. Rufi has been in foster care with her mother for 10 months and the pair of them make quite the duo. Ru loves to play with all the other dogs and warmly welcomes the dog-pile for a cozy snuggle with her furry friends. Ru is gentle, docile, and very sweet-natured.

We found Rufina on the street with her mother, sister and two brothers. The puppies were just nine weeks old and were terrified of everything. Over the months, we had to gradually build up her confidence and establish some trust with people, and now she greets visitors with a wagging tail and a gentle kiss. Ru has blossomed into a friendly and loving dog and is ready for a home that provide her with the comfort and stability she deserves.

Rufi would be better suited to a home with large, secure yard so she can spend her days running around and playing. Ideally, she would be rehomed with her mother but she can be adopted alone to the right home.
