Lupita

Loopy Lupita is a bundle of joy! She has a lot of energy and can be very excitable, especially when she is been given love and affection. She loves to run around and play with other dogs and her toys, and it can take her a while to understand the boundaries of other dogs. Lupita can be a little nervous of new people but comes around quickly if food and love are on the table. She still needs training when it comes to walking as she has never seen the "real world."

Lu wandered onto a finca as a very young puppy and was brought up here as a stray dog. She received food each day but never explored the "real world," so was nervous (but curious!) of new people and places. At the start of 2024, Lupita followed another dog onto the main road and was hit by a car, breaking her leg. We put her into immediate foster care while she recovered from her surgery. Lupita has remained in foster care as her recovery was over 4 months and she grew attached to "home life." Lupita is waiting for her happily ever after!

Lupita needs a warm and loving family who can be patient and committed to her training. Lupita loves other dogs but can come on strong, so would need to be rehomed with a dog that matches her energy or is calm and well-adjusted. Lupita has lived well with cats and horses too.
