Billy Bob has been compared to a cat. He is a very easy dog that doesn't need much attention, but adores being on the receiving end of your love and attention. He likes to spend most of his days lounging in the sun and exploring the garden in his own time. He has a very gentle character that means he's pretty much perfect for any type of family.
Billy Bob lived on the street until the start of 2024 when he was hit by a car and dislocated his hip. While we were caring for him during his rehabilitation, we found out he had genital cancer. This is common in street dogs here and is another reason we must prioritize sterilizations. We had Billy Bob sterilized and treated his cancer with chemotherapy while he also recovered from his injury. His foster home decided to keep him however, unpredictable changes to their living circumstances means we have to find Billy Bob a new home before he is returned to the street.
Billy Bob has lived well with cats and dogs. He can be possessive around food and also mark his territory. He makes a great companion and could fit nicely in a quiet home that is looking for a dog to love and cuddle with on the sofa.
